Thyroid Cancer: A Global Threat

We are proud to announce a new thematic series, edited by Andy T. Y. Lau and Yasumasa Kato, entitled “Thyroid Cancer: A Global Threat”. In this collection, we welcome original articles focusing on areas including but not limited to molecular and genetic landscape, diagnostic tools and imaging techniques, advanced therapeutic modalities, epidemiology, and prevention strategies for thyroid cancer. 

Human Solute Carriers

We are proud to announce a new thematic series, edited by Andy T. Y. Lau and Yasumasa Kato, entitled "Human Solute Carriers (SLCs)." In this collection, we welcome original articles on a range of topics including but not limited to the role of SLCs in cancer cell survival, growth, and metastasis; SLCs as diagnostic biomarkers or therapeutic targets; and the development of novel strategies to modulate SLCs function in cancer therapy.

Ubiquitin Biology and Human Health

We are proud to announce a new thematic series, edited by Andy T. Y. Lau and Amy Yan-Ming Xu, entitled “Ubiquitin Biology and Human Health”. We are honored to have the first kickoff article in this thematic series by Professor Aaron Ciechanover, Nobel Prize laureate in Chemistry of 2004. This collection will also comprise articles from other scientists of the field; the goal is to gather the latest knowledge and perspectives regarding ubiquitin research.

Announcing the launch of In Review

Cancer Cell International, in partnership with Research Square, is now offering In Review. Authors choosing this free optional service will be able to:

  • Share their work with fellow researchers to read, comment on, and cite even before publication
  • Showcase their work to funders and others with a citable DOI while it is still under review
  • Track their manuscript - including seeing when reviewers are invited, and when reports are received
